Out of the six North Carolina constitutional amendments on the ballot for the 2018 General Election, Catawba County voters said no to two as did voters statewide.

Here are the totals for Catawba County and the state:

» Protecting the Right to Hunt and Fish: Statewide: For, 1,494,524. Against, 1,172,861 Locally: For, 36,656. Against, 15,160

» Strengthening Victims' Rights: Statewide: For, 1,625,923. Against, 1,044,526. Local: For, 37,945. Against, 13,883

» Maximum Income Tax Rate of 7 percent: Statewide: For, 1,507,944. Against, 1,165,568. Local: For, 35,645. Against, 16,198.

» Requiring Photo ID to Vote: Statewide: For, 1,468,603. Against, 1,234,343. Local: For, 37,245. Against, 15,453

» Nonpartisan Judicial Merit Commission: Statewide: Against, 1,755,591. For, 860,017. Local: Against, 33,500. For, 17,253.

» Bipartisan Board of Ethics and Elections: Statewide: Against, 1,622,057. For, 995,427. Local: Against, 30,683. For, 19,983
