Investigators are looking for two suspects accused of robbing the Domino’s Pizza off West N.C. 10 early Wednesday morning.

According to a Newton Police Department release, a delivery driver was leaving the restaurant when two armed men forced the driver back inside and onto the floor.

The suspects went into the office, found the store manager and forced him to locate and open a safe, which didn’t have any cash inside, the release said.

The store manager was forced back into the office, and the suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from a cash drawer and bank bags and fled the restaurant, according to the release.

Officers searched the area surrounding Domino’s but were unsuccessful. According to the release, the suspects are described as two males wearing masks, gloves and Nike hoodies.

Those with information relevant to the ongoing investigation should call Lt. Nikki Lineberger of Newton Police Department at 828-465-7430.
