Robert C. Reed/Hickory Daily Record: The Catawba County Sheriff's Office is investigation a possible home invasion and shooting at a residence in Northeast Hickory on Thursday.

A Hickory man says he was asleep when he woke up to find two armed men in his bedroom at his 37th Street Drive NE residence at around 10:30 a.m. this morning.
