NEWTON — The arts departments at Discovery High School and Newton-Conover High School have joined forces to produce this year’s spring musical, “Guys and Dolls,” based on a story and characters of Damon Runyon, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows.

The musical is directed by theater teacher David Bozza, with musical direction by chorus teacher Jason Myers, and technical direction by art teacher Karmen Lawing. Costume assistance was provided by apparels teacher Melissa Bradshaw.

The production’s final performance takes place at 10 a.m. today at Newton-Conover Auditorium at 60 West E 6th St, Newton. Tickets prices are $10 for general admission and $8 for students.
