Mold problems arise in flooded buildings

NEWTON N.C. -- Assessment teams responding to reports of damage from Saturday’s flooding are finding many instances where mold is or could become a problem.

According to the Catawba County Emergency Management, mold can increase damage to structures that were flooded and cause health problems.
