Granite Falls man convicted of accessory in 2010 murder

LENOIR NC – Matthew Bradley Powell, 24, of Granite Falls was convicted of two counts accessory after the fact to murder in Caldwell County Superior Court on Monday.

Judge Robert C. Ervin sentenced Powell to no less than 134 months and no more than 180 months in the North Carolina Division of Adult Correction, according to information provided through the District Attorney’s office.
