Civil Rights activist to host program at LRU

HICKORY, N.C. — Lenoir-Rhyne University will honor the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the annual Martin Luther King Celebration at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20.

The free, public program, which will be held in PE Monroe Auditorium on the campus of Lenoir-Rhyne, will feature native South Carolinian and veteran Civil Rights activist James L. Felder.
