HICKORY –Trinity Ridge, a new skilled nursing home to open July 31, won’t look like your typical nursing home with its café, chapel, fountain, salon and playground. Instead, the facility is intended to look more “neighborly.”

The new $18 million facility is being opened by Lutheran Services Carolinas. The facility is broken down into memory-impaired, short-term rehab and two basic skilled “neighborhoods.”
