The Town of Mooresville will dedicate its newest recreation center -- the Selma Burke Community Center -- Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.

The public event will included a brief ceremony and ribbon cutting at 12:30 p.m., activities for all ages and tours of the facility.

Among the feature guests will be more than 100 youths who will be participating in Global Youth Services Day events that morning.

The Selma Burke Community Center, off East Plaza Drive, is the former Agape Child Development Center that was purchased by the town in 2012.
